So... it's been a while since I have last done a journal entry, hasn't it? I assume y'all want to know what has happened since last month. Well... here it goes. To recap thus far: On Super Bowl Sunday 2024, my dad's old computer ended up suffering another freeze up when I was messing around in Roblox's The Presentation Experience game. Thus that meant it needed to be turned off all the way. Of course... I had my dad get the duster to dust down anything that was causing the issue and of course get that taken care of. However upon turning it back on, the monitor kept flickering on and off for no apparent reason. After several more failed attempts, it was decided to turn the old computer off in what would seem like to be the final time. The next course of action was to contact the computer guy to see if he can figure out what the problem was. So of course... my dad loaded up the old computer into the back of his car and of course would find the computer guy once he got off of work (aka substitute teaching). Once he dropped off the old computer at the computer guy's place, he would wait until he get the call from him. During that time, he realized he actually had another computer... one that is actually a gaming computer and had been gathering up dust in his bedroom because of the lack of use in recent years! So of course my dad pushed it out of his bedroom and into the spot where the old computer was. He also got one of the two monitors out that was on the table, thus also replacing an old Dell Monitor that was worn out as well. Eventually, my dad got the call from the computer guy and well... he found out what the problem was with my dad's old computer: Apparently the motherboard inside of my dad's old computer was completely and entirely worn out after a decade's use. Of course... it would just cost way too much money to get it replaced, so as a result... my dad decided to retire that old computer for good and ultimately have the gaming computer that he didn't use that much be his new computer instead. Now obviously there was a lot of stuff that my dad did on his old computer, so he also realized that he got a backup drive one or two Christmases ago and he sent that over to the computer guy to get all the stuff transferred over from the old computer to the new gaming computer. Once he got that done, along with other things such as also having a drive to myself in which I could copy and paste things to my laptop as well having a lot more space, then it was time for my stuff. Initially, only all of the game downloads that I did were able to copy over but my games didn't get copied over. So that meant I had to reinstall my games and get all the way back to where I was last time, thus would of resulted months on end of doing that and wearing me out completely. But then... earlier this month... a miracle happened! A drive by the name of Gateway (:I) appeared and as a result... it had all of the games I did on my dad's computer, including my Trainz games! And to make even things even better... all the data that I did on there was kept! :D So that means I wouldn't have to do months on end of getting all the way back to of where I was left off! Anyways.... upon getting back into the game, I headed onto the Content Manager of Trainz Simulator 12 and obtained some Hi-Rail Vehicles. Once I got those... I headed onto the Austin Western route, aka the route that Frisco 1522 is still on for Day 73 of her Epic Adventure in my copy of Trainz Simulator 12, I placed the Hi-Rail and ran it so it can check over the entire route and ensured that the path ahead for Frisco 1522 was cleared without any issues at all. Of course... I had to fixed an issue with a crossing that caused the Hi-Rail to derail, but that was taken care of thankfully. Afterwards... I got the Hi-Rail out of the way and then went back to Frisco 1522 thus once again getting her back to where progress on Day 73 was last stopped on... aka Burnet, Texas. And that's where we are now as of today, aka Saturday March 23rd, 2024. :3 So coming up on the final Monday of March 2024, I shall be resuming Day 73 of Frisco 1522's Epic Adventure in my copy of Trainz Simulator 12 and the goal for the final full week of March 2024 is to get Day 73 done, thus meaning I can finally make progress beyond Day 73 and be ever a step closer to aim for the completion of Frisco 1522's Epic Adventure once and for all!! :D:D That is all. :) P.S. Oh before I forget, just a heads up: There might be a decrease of screen resolution, mainly because the current computer monitor my dad uses for his current computer is a bit smaller in contrast to the old one which was a bit wider.

So yesterday, once after my dad got off of work via from substitute teaching up at First Flight High School, he went to the computer guy's place to see if he was there. Apparently the place had changed since the last time he was there, but thankfully... the computer guy is still alive. So on that note... my dad was still able to find the computer guy and gave the computer to him to find out the problem. Rest of yesterday flew by and then in the morning, aka today, he got the call from him of which the computer guy found out the problem: Apparently the motherboard inside the computer was completely worn out after a decade's worth of use. So rather than having to pay so much money in order to replace it, my dad decided to use the new hard drive he got for Christmas via 1 or 2 years ago and gave it to the computer guy so that all the stuff that was on the hard drive on his computer can be transferred over to the new hard drive. I'll keep y'all informed of what will be next, insuring that the transfer process between two hard drives is completed, and of course we don't end up losing all the stuff that was done on it. ^^

My dad's computer once again suffered another freeze-up, which meant I had it turned off all the way. From there I had my dad get it of course dusted off with a duster so it can run better. However.... it caused an unwanted effect as a result of not using the duster on it for quite some time: Monitor screen kept flickering on and off. So what this means is... sometime this week but maybe tomorrow most likely, my dad will take his computer to the computer guy's place to see if he can figure out what the problem is and hopefully he can get these freeze-ups/blue screens of death to stop happening so much. Fingers crossed! :fingerscrossed:

Ugh...

...Just when I was starting to make good progress regarding the 4th portion of Day 73 of Frisco 1522's Epic Adventure in my copy of Trainz Simulator 12... I end up getting the very annoying Blue Screen of Death on me. =-=* Starting today.... I'm gonna go on another temporary break from submitting Trainz Simulator 12 screenshots to my DeviantART account. :/ The reason why: I gotta find what is the cause of my dad's computer constantly having these problems, since they are being really annoying. :T And yes.... I'm not that much of a Computer techie cause I don't know much about what goes on inside it and what not. ^^' I'm still not giving up on Frisco 1522's Epic Adventure regardless. It's just.... when dealing with these constant issues on my dad's computer, aka the one I use Trainz Simulator 12 on, one has to deal with the computer first and then fun afterwards. And besides..... I haven't been getting much sleep at all lately. ^^'

...it's gonna take me until next Wednesday to resume submitting screenshots. Now that I have finished the repairs regarding the incident, all I have to do is get Frisco 1522 and her consist back to where Tuesday ended on. And that being on one leg of the Burnet, Texas wye. So yeah.... just hold tight until then and I shall be back with more of Day 73 of Frisco 1522's Epic Adventure in my copy of Trainz Simulator 12. ;)
